The Traffic Bureau is proud to present its “Drive 4 Life” teen driver safety program Saturday, May 9, 2015. This program is designed for young drivers who have a license as well as those who are about to get one. Our goal is to provide a FREE service to our community by educating our young drivers and their parents in an effort to promote traffic safety on our roadways and to prevent fatal traffic collisions. Kids Night Out: May 8

If you’re a kid ages 5-12 and looking for a night of fun games, crafts, and snacks the City of Corona has the perfect evening for you!

Kids Night Out is a recreation program held every second Friday of the month. The evening will be a whirlwind of uninterrupted fun with activities and entertainment. The cost for Kids Night Out is $15 for Corona residents/$25 for non-residents respectively and registration must be done prior to attending so be sure your parents sign you up early. The next Kids Night Out is May 8!

Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event

Corona City Hall is hosting a Riverside County Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event on Saturday and Sunday May 30th and 31st from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Corona City Hall Parking Lot (enter off of Buena Vista Ave).

This is a great time to recycle your old paint, used oil, chemicals, batteries, and propane tanks.  Help protect our environment and make the City of Corona safe for our families. This event is open to all Riverside County and Corona residents.

Making a Splash this Summer

The summer heat has made an early appearance this year, and the City of Corona’s Citrus Splash Zone is ready to help cool down Corona! Summer fun is in season starting Friday, May 1st, at the Citrus Splash Zone. The Citrus Splash Zone is open daily at Citrus Park, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. from May 1st to Sept. 30th.

Citrus Park is located at 1250 Santana Way in Corona, at the intersection of Rimpau Avenue and Taber Street.
