The City Council authorized pass-through rate increases through September 3, 2014, on August 5, 2009, by approving Ordinance 3005. The Proposition 218 notice for Ordinance 3005 was distributed in May 2009.

On May 18, 2011, the Corona City Council approved a rate increase for the commodity charge component of the reclaimed water service fees, and authorized an annual rate increase for both the commodity charge and ready to serve fee through July 2016 based on a cost of living increase based on the Consumer Price Index for Riverside County published by the U.S. Department of Labor. The COLA will cover the increase in material, supply and service costs; salary increases are not part of this COLA.
