News Release Detail

Date: 6/29/2012
Reference: Fido's Fourth

On the Fourth of July, we celebrate our Great Nation’s Independence. For many of us, that means Friends, Family, and FIREWORKS! For our beloved pets, however, this means FEAR.

As you plan your holiday festivities, please take a moment to plan for your pets.

  • Don’t take your pets with you to noisy celebrations
  • Do leave your pets at home, where they can feel safe
  • Don’t leave your pets in a car
  • Do make sure your pets have plenty of water and shade
  • Don’t give your pet a bath, and ‘forget’ to put its collar back on
  • Do make sure your pet is wearing identification, with up-to-date contact information
And if your pet goes missing,

  • Don’t assume it will come home on its own
  • Do visit your Animal Shelter, early and often!
Happy Independence Day from all of us at the Corona Animal Shelter!

The Corona Animal Shelter is located at 608 Harrington St. Corona, CA, 92880.
The phone number is 951-736-2309.
