Rabies Vaccination & Dog Licensing Clinic

In recognition of World Rabies Day the City of Corona Animal Services & Enforcement will hold a Low-Cost Rabies Vaccination & Dog Licensing Clinic on Saturday, September 27, 2014, from 3PM to 5PM.

Rabies is a virus that is transmissible from animals to humans. Every year approximately 60,000 people die from the deadly disease. The most common method of contracting rabies is from an animal bite. To reduce the risk of infection, the State of California requires that all dogs over the age of four months be vaccinated against rabies. Local government agencies utilize Dog Licensing programs to encourage and track rabies vaccination in domestic dogs, and to notify pet owners in the rare case that a vaccine batch proves to be defective.
